A lot of people keep touting Graham because of his two TDs against New Orleans, but he looked anything but special yesterday.
Pittman is an established back, and an excellent pass catcher. I personally think he'll get more touches. Plus, rookie RBs wear down badly as they adjust to an NFL schedule.
Either way, it will be Running Back by Committee. Neither guy will have the feature back role.
Of the two, I'll take Pittman for his pass catching, and experience.
With C. Williams now out, who will get more playing time, Pittman or Graham?
They will be sharing carries.
Earnest Graham should be more the red zone back.
Pittman is the better blocker so he should be played more on pass plays also.
YDs: Equal
TDs: Graham
Graham I'd say.
Reply:Pittman
Reply:It most likely will be RBBC. Graham has been getting the TD rushes, however, so he would be the recommended pick-up.
Reply:They will share, but Pittman will get the majority of the touches for yardage, with Graham looking more and more like a 3rd down and goal-line back. Temper your expectations for both, but if they stay healthy, I would expect 80-100 yards from Pittman and 30-50 yard + TD from Graham on almost a weekly basis.
Bet you never thought you would hear anybody say that about anyone on the Bucs coming into the 2007 season.
