C'mon all women. Time for you to make stupid comments about the Super Bowl?
Here is the last night,hopefully, that I have to read womens stupid comments on th Super bowl. Why do they think anyone wants to hear their opinion on anything, most of all. about football on Super Bowl Sunday.Go shopping and leave the game for the guys
C'mon all women. Time for you to make stupid comments about the Super Bowl?
im a guy but dont be sexist.
there are women out there who follow football.
Reply:OK ok, every body stop bashing home dude. I think he is trying to say ( and i agree) is a lot of women are starting to get into football but are one-dimensional in there knowledge. Its like you ask who is going to win the Superbowl, they mostly say the colts because manning is the best or the offense is the best. But that is common knowledge. I'm teaching my wife and she has learned to actually watch the game and understand it. For example i asked her who she thought would win the Superbowl............Bears, defense is always better to have because u can stop the other team from scoring and the bears d can score too, so if there inconsistent offense show up they are ok. While the colts are a great offense they have been slowed down by Dallas,Houston, and Tennessee that i saw. So i feel the bears have the edge, plus they have that guy(Hester) that can return punts. Now for a girl that's an awesome answer and is based on a true opinion.
Reply:Seems like stupid comments aren't limited to just women.
I'm sure it would do no good to try and educate you, but for anyone else who might read this, check out the second paragraph.
Super Bowl Viewers Reflect Diversity of American Sports Fans (Nielsen Media Research)
Although men over age 18 are the demographic with the highest Super Bowl ratings (39.6% rating, or 40.6 million viewers), a significant number of women, Hispanic and African American viewers across the country also tuned in to the broadcast.
Approximately 32.6 million women over the age of 18 watched the 2005 Super Bowl for a 29.3% average rating. Among women viewers, those in the 25-54 age group had the highest interest, with a 31% average household rating.
An average of 27.7% of African Americans, or approximately 9.7 million viewers, tuned in to Super Bowl XXXIX. The highest watching African American age category was 25-54 years olds, with a rating of 31.7%. An average of 12.5% of Hispanics, or approximately 4.8 million viewers, watched the 2005 Super Bowl. About 18.3% of Hispanics over age 55 watched the game, the highest rating for any age category of Hispanic viewers.
Reply:Do the world a favor and refrain from reproducing.
Reply:i watched it i wanted the colts to win and they did
Reply:You sexist bastard! I'm a girl and I love football. I also love Sportscenter and I watch football all the time. If you really think that guys are the only ones that like football then you really need to get your fat *** off the computer and go see whats going on in the real world and get a life! And Peyton Manning is my favorite player of all time so the last thing I want to be doing during the Super Bowl is shopping. So get a life and realize that some GIRLS DO LIKE FOOTBALL!!!!
Reply:I don't like football. There are a lot of woman who do and are very knowledgeable about it. Don't judge ALL women because some of us don't like football! I'm not going shopping either. I'm watching the "Family Guy" marathon until Prince comes on.
Reply:If you are married, I hope he likes football too. You jerk:(
I can tell you never cuddled up with a female and watched the Super Bowl.
Reply:You can stop the sexism anytime now. Do all of the women in the world a favor and don't hook up with any.
There are those of us who follow sports. And, we don't care for someone making the kinds of remarks that you just did.
Reply:I bet your one those guys with the bear gut watch for naked women.
Talk football
This game should be interesting at least at the start if Manning has a quarterback rating over 100% then the Bears are dead if he throws interception then the Bears have a change. I believe we will see a Manning more intense than ever. Then trading Edrin James and drafting Adey gosh who would of thought.
Poor Rex is Chicago for or against him. I have never a city bad mouth then glorify a person so much in my entire life. Damn if he does and damn if he doesn't
Of course I live in Wisconsin and I'm stuck another year with Bret Farve, Yuk! He was great now he just old.
Anyway
I don't think this guy knows anything about football. I just think he wants us all to believe that he does.
Secondly, I bet that I have had more life experience than you will ever have. Have you seen a patriot/scud intercept in time of war?
Have you ever set foot outside the US. Did you serve your country?
I know my opinion doesn't count
I'm just a female, a Retired Army NCO, Disabled Veteran, Colts Fan. Desert Storm Veteran
Now for the game lay back in your chair and be drunk by half time. While the rest of us watch a great game
Reply:why do men think that women dont like sports? you need to get a reality check.
GO COLTS!
Reply:I agree qlane there are women who follow football.
There are also women who go:
GO BEARS GO SEXY REXY
who is hotter Payton or Tom?
What do I make for my superbowl party?
Is Peyton married?
Don't know but it could be a good time to go shopping.
Reply:i understand where your coming from since there has been an overwhelming amount of women on here asking stupid questions like which teams qb's hotter, but in all fairness there's also been a lot of men on here asking who's cheerleaders are hotter, so stupidity runs on both sides. I really don't think it's fair that you make the general assumption that all women's opinions don't matter when it comes to football because I hardly ever meet a man that doesn't dissapoint me when i try to discuss football with him. try to get over your stereotype that all women know nothing about sports, because your making yourself sound just as ignorant as those your mocking
Reply:As to stupid comments, how was it that you managed to set the bar so low with your opening "hurl"? You must have a really high opinion of yourself. Speaking of high, just what are you smoking anyway? I would have to agree with "football chick" about your negativity towards the feminine gender knowing little to nothing about football. I have two daughters living in the Indianapolis area and they are avid Colts fans. Unfortunately they are also Florida Gators fans (for even longer than they've been Colts fans) and they have a link to both teams playing, as there are former Gators on both sides of the ball. Alas, poor Rex, the ugly duckling, in the SB. Maybe he'll have a bad game, and maybe not. He is certainly capable of either, and in the same game. Peyton is equally capable, though he does have more experience at choking. Ask a Gator! As for this old Gator, I'm going to pull for "Da Bears!" "Go Bears" and "Go Rex"

C++ help for someone using the program for the first time today?
Okay, I need some help with "if" statements.
I'm trying to get across to the program...
if theMonth == 4
AND
theDate %26gt;= 1 %26amp;%26amp; theDate %26lt;=19
THEN
(say a statement)
I've tried it as...
cout %26lt;%26lt; "So, what day where you born?" %26lt;%26lt; endl;
int theDate;
cin %26gt;%26gt; theDate;
if((theMonth==4)%26amp;%26amp;(theDate %26gt;=1 %26amp;%26amp; theDate %26lt;= 19))
cout %26lt;%26lt; "I didn't know you were an Aries!" %26lt;%26lt; endl;
But it isn't working! All that happens is when it's executed, it shows..
"So, what day where you born?"
And you input a number between 1 and 19, it asks you to hit another key to close the program.
For the record, earlier in the coding, I did...
int theMonth
cout %26lt;%26lt; "What month were you born?";
cin %26gt;%26gt; theMonth
(switch/case stuff)
cout %26lt;%26lt; "Ah, so you were born in (month)".
I follow the instructions correctly. Input four, get it to say April. Then later I input a number like 15 for the date, and it doesn't work.
Help?
C++ help for someone using the program for the first time today?
EDIT: Just seen your full program - birthMonth is a char and therefore fails the test
if(birthMonth == 4) .
Change the condition to if(birthMonth == '4')
This is a working version of your program:
#include %26lt;conio.h%26gt;
#include %26lt;iostream.h%26gt;
void main()
{
int theMonth, theDate;
cout %26lt;%26lt; "So, what month where you born?" %26lt;%26lt; endl;
cin %26gt;%26gt; theMonth;
cout %26lt;%26lt; "So, what day where you born?" %26lt;%26lt; endl;
cin %26gt;%26gt; theDate;
if((theMonth==4)%26amp;%26amp;(theDate %26gt;=1) %26amp;%26amp; (theDate %26lt;= 19)) {
cout %26lt;%26lt; "I didn't know you were an Aries!" %26lt;%26lt; endl;
}
getch();
}
It's always best to put brackets around if and else statements by habit like this:
if(month == 4)
{
// code
}
else
{
// code
}
Reply:On your If statement be sure you have { open brackets after the criteria and } at the end. I did not see that unless your using ( and ). Which is not the correct symbol for the if statement to be closed in the code.
Reply:not enough information. Doesn't look like C++ in the first place. You'll need to post the actual code (copy/paste) and then you need to say what compiler you are using and what operating system and so on.
The IF statement must be followed by a complete boolean expression in parentheses. In one of your code snippets you have two expressions following the IF... I'm surprised it compiles that way.
If you have a choice, switch to C# right away. It is a much better language, and it will catch programming errors like the one I mention. It won't compile that and you'll know right away what you did wrong. You are missing brackets and so on... and C++ is doing exactly what you told it to do... basically nothing. You don't have a code block after the IF....

C-section healing time?
How long did it take you for your incision to heal?
I'm 3 months post partum and my incision is still open.
C-section healing time?
This is NOT normal and you should see your doctor as soon as they can get you in. My incision healed pretty quickly. It left a scar but nothing 'open'. It scabbed over and then healed within a few weeks.
There are all kinds of medical reasons why this could happen, but this is serious and you need to get medical attention as soon as possible. I'm not really sure why they didn't catch this at your 6 week check up.
EDIT after your more recent information: I've never heard of anything like that and I'm surprised they aren't taking it more seriously. I would get another opinion and possibly testing to see why the wound isn't healing. Perhaps you may need to go to a wound care clinic where they specialize in wounds that are slow to heal.
I'm so sorry your going through this, sounds horrible. Especially when you are busy with a new baby.
Do you have diabetes or a circulation problem? Sometimes people with diabetes or circulation problems (heart, etc) are slower to heal.
Are they giving you antibiotics? I would also air out the wound rather than keeping it covered all the time, give it a chance to air out. What about antibiotic ointment like neosporin if you don't have a prescription antibiotic?
Don't hesitate to get another opinion, it won't hurt and might help put your mind at ease.
Reply:I have been there, same thing emergency c-section, put you to sleep, you don't have much say in any of it.
I seem to remember still having scabbing 6 months after.
It was explained to me like this, you have a few layer of internal stitches inside. My body was extremely sensitive to those and they didn't necessarily disolve like they were suppose to. I actually passed some stitches through the wound. That is why the external wound wouldn't heal. Sounds pretty gross but it was more annoying than anything.
As long as medical experts are aware of whats going on I wouldn't worry. It does happen to some of us.
Just be very careful with any strenous activity that could cause it to keep opening.
Good luck and I hope you are enjoying that new baby.
Reply:I have had 3 C-sections and never once did I have a problem with it healing. I would see the OB/GYN because having it heal by secondary intention can lead to infection (other than the sutures/staples), hospital ought to know to give you an antibiotic! It may be that the suture/staple(s) caught a portion of your skin layer and when it was removed, that portion tore open. Either way, your OB/GYN should be helping take care of that. You can keep triple antibiotic on it along with a bandaid, keep it moist at all times (not wet) and it can heal, but an antibiotic would give you extra protection.
Good luck!
Reply:sorry i'm not sure but maybe u should call the hospital where u gave birth at
Reply:Ooo...nasty. It should have healed by now. Are you getting it dressed regularly?
There can, with all surgical wounds, be delayed healing and this happens for many reasons. If they tried to close it and something happened to the wound, they would have had to go for 'healing by second intention' ie letting the wound heal naturally with the aid of a good diet and dressings. ('healing by first intention' being the use of stiches or surgical clips.)
This is a really difficult subject to advise you on without knowing more information. I'm a community nurse in the UK, so I'm used to healing wounds, but would need to know more to even hazard a guess as to why its taking so long. If you do want a more in depth answer please email me with the answers to the question below and I'll try and help you further.
Are you seeing a nurse or doctor to have it dressed regularly?
What is it being dressed with? Names or types of dressing would be useful.
How long, wide, and deep is it?
Is there any fluid coming from the wound? If so, what colour is it, does it smell, and does it soak through your dressing?
Is the wound bed clean (pink/red flesh) or does it have yellow/green stuff in it or a bit of both? If a bit of both, can you give percentages?
Send a photo if you feel comfortable/able.

Additional: Are you packing with ribbon gauze? And packing with wet gauze? That is very rarely done in the UK. We use absorbant hydrocolloid dressing that you pack in dry and they remove the yellow stuff (called slough) and absorb up to 10 times their weight in fluid. Also, by changing your dressing twice per day you will be increasing your healing time. The wound needs to stay at body temperature as much as possible. If you are removing dressing then the wound won't be as warm and the blood vessals will vasoconstrict. When you redress the wound it won't start healing again until its has returned to body temperature. Try only dressing when you can see fluid coming through(if this is happening everyday, then you need a different sort of dressing) and use saline that is warm (the wrist test is a good guide for temperature).
Reply:ask ur doctor! i heard whey you have c section they give put a needle in your spine? or something? it suppose to be painful like no other.
was it as bad as ppl said?
Reply:You need to see your OB/GYN IMMEDIATELY!!! It should have healed by now. Having any open incision (especially one into the abdominal cavity) can lead to horrible infections of the skin or peritoneum. You may need some additional stitches, or possibly tests to see why you haven't healed at this point.
Best of luck!

C'mon. i need your advice. (second time)?
i have a history with this guy it started about a year and ahalf ago, he liked me, but i wasnt ready because i was still into anther guy. Then we talked again bout 5 months later, he liked me, i liked him, but then all of a sudden, he talks to another girl. (wtf?) well, we stopped talking altogether because i think i scared him off saying how much i care. I'll still think about him alot, and im trying to move on! about 4 other guys were perfectly capable but i was the one scared. I felt doubt with every single one of them. I want to talk to (lets call him John) again, but he doesnt acknowledge my existence. Why do guys believe that we'll become stalkers? I want to make it right again. He saw me at a football game, we just stared. He looked, i turned away, i looked, he turned away.
then i get a private call the next day. no one spoke back.
now i may see him at a thing on sunday. what should i do?
C'mon. i need your advice. (second time)?
I think that you should pretend he does not exist or ignore him and see if he takes that bate... If he truly likes you he will take the bate. Give it some time it will all work out if it is ment to be cause if it is ment to be it will be.
My son liked this girl and she was real mean to him and ignored him and stuff, when she knew he liked her. He was so sad because she was mean to him and ignored him and stuff like that. So I told him. When your around her, pretend like she is not even in the room or when your at football practice pretend like she is not there. She then started talking to him. By then he was over her.
