When measuring time constant its C x R (CAPICITANCE TIMES RESISTOR)?

If i have a 2k ohm resistor for instance and 100uF capacitor

the sum would be ? (i'm not sure if this it right please verify)

2000x100uF x 10-3 = 200

Is this the correct way of working out the time constant.

When measuring time constant its C x R (CAPICITANCE TIMES RESISTOR)?
"the sum would be". you mean "the product would be"

2000Ω x 100µF

2000 x 100 x 10^-6

200000 x 10^-6

0.2 seconds
