No real luck, last time I asked this, lots of Info. Hep C Genome type 1a?

I' am looking for somewhere that I can get ahold of Pegalated Interferon Redipens and Ribaviran without a prescription. I have all the Information on dosing, side effects, ETC. !!!! Any and All Information would be appreciated !!! The doctors that are seeing me are denying me treatment . Due to the fact that I have depression. I would like to have chance for a longer life ! Viral Load is @ 12,000,000. I have done everything possible to get this treatment, living a healthy lifestyle, no alchohol, quit after about 24yrs of drinking. sober 7 mo. and feeling great about it. But that dosen't stop the Hep C from slowly scarring my liver. Sombody pls. help me with some good news. Thanks

There are several different genotypes of hep c. Unfortunately, you have the most common, and the most difficult to "cure" type, the type most commonly found in the united states.





I do not know of anywhere to get Interferon and Ribavirin without a prescription.





I am not a doctor, but I do take care of patients with hepatitis C. Interferon is very hard on your body, like chemotherapy, and with the genotype you have, you would only have about a 20% to 40% chance that it would work, and that's only if you are white. For some reason it's harder to treat and get a SVR (sustained viral response) in blacks.





2% of people who have no history of mental illness will end up killing themselves while on this treatment, it is that hard on your body.





I am interested in knowing what your liver biopsy results are. What is the grade and stage of your hepatitis C? You mentioned that you were a drinker for a number of years, do you have cirrhosis? Alcohol will cause cirrhosis of the liver faster than the hepatitis C virus.
