I'm tired of closing it every time.
How do I keep C:\Program File\Yahoo!\Search from showing up every time I turn on my computer?
It is an error in your computer's startup files, and and you can fix it by using the following steps to change the key causing it:
Click Start
Click Run...
Type regedit.exe (This will launch the windows registry editor.)
On the left hand side, click on the plus signs to open up the following folders in this order:
My Computer
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft
Windows
Current Version
Once you are to the Current Version folder, click the Run folder to select it as the current folder. Then on the right hand side, look for a line that says YSearchProtection.
Double click on the word "YSearchProtection" to edit it, and what causes the "glitch" is the space between search and protection, so to fix it, you have to put in quote marks so the line is changed from C:\..\SearchProtection.exe to "C:\..\SearchProtection.exe" , and then click okay. After you click okay, click the x button in the corner to exit out of regedit, and that will have it fixed so the next time you start your computer, it should hopefully not bring up that window anymore.
Reply:You might have to go into your computer programmer and delete it. That would be my guess.
