Best time of the year to purchase home A/C heating system.?

I plan to replace our home A/C heat system and I was wondering what part of the year (winter / summer) I would get the best price....or it makes no difference.

In my business we're able to be most flexible on price during our slow months which are march- may.Western PA.

Reply:Parts and materials rarely drop in price, so the sooner the better there.





Depending on the contractor, you might be able negotiate a better labor cost if they can have the luxury of scheduling your job around other, more urgent jobs.





Of course, since it is both your heat and A/C system, late spring and early fall will be most advantageous to you.
