If you receive lump-sum from W/C and same time you recive SS What % return to SS on Florida ?
The W/C often is equated with the % return to SS on the 15th year; hence the payment is a negative amount, resulting in disability continuance of less than 7 years. You need to check the #% of the person in Florida versus the %# of the W/C. Note: the terms of the W/C may call for a 3/4 disbursement of the lump sum of half of the receipients age times the number of years he/she has paid into SS.
