I am giving my kid a memory vitamin and planning to give him a vitamin c
Is it safe to take in memory enhancer at the same time with vitamin C?
It should be safe, but ... why give it in the first place ? Does your kid not eat fruit and vegetables ? If not, make sure he/she does eat them.
Don't give children pills if they don't need them. Teach them to have a balanced diet with fruit and vegetables. Drink a lot of water (3-5 liters a day!)
Why memory enhancers ? For a kid ? Do you really believe they work ? You can only improve the blood circulation of the brain by taking Ginkgo for example, but children really don't need that ...
Only give your child supplements if a blood test indicates that it's required. Leave it to the specialists.
Reply:Should be ok, all vitamins can be had safely in most occassions and alot of kids dont get enough vitamins through their food, but there is a kids multi vitamin which contains the omega 3 (memory enhancer) and vitamin c, all in one, a lot of people dont know, but if you dont have sufficent vitamin c in your body, you cant absorb iron, which you really need, so I'd go with the kids multi, it will work out a lot cheaper for you and makes sure that they are getting enough of everything all at once with one tablet, I pretty sure they are chewable so that solves that problem too, hope that helps, goodluck!
Reply:Yes.it's safe.
Reply:Ok, you are giving your child 'snake oil' - there is no such thing as 'memory enhancing vitamins' You can give vitamins so that your child gets the right daily intake for vitamins and minerals, but nothing at all that you do will make his or her 'brain' function any better than it otherwise will on just a good healthy diet.
Save your money and take an extra holiday or two every year instead.
