Wat happends to animals in the s.p.c.a after a specific time peroid?

like my mom just droped a blck cat in ther ewe had him for 3 monthes and she grew to love that cat but she pee'd on the furniture and botherd our other cats so we had to put him in the s.p.c.a now my mom is actully crying becuase she's worried that there gonna take him down

Hopefully someone adopted the cat. Sometimes rescue organizations will adopt them from shelters and then try to find homes for them as well. However, if the cat is as ill-behaved as you described, it may have had to been put down. Sorry.
Reply:if a rescue does not pull him or no one adopts him (or any other animal) he dies. Sorry to be blunt but thats what happens. If its an owner turn in the amount of days could be as little as 3 days in some shelters. I wish you would have found this cat a home instead of dropping off at the shelter. Because frankly this cat may die in 2 wks or less.
Reply:Sometimes, like here, they have the pet fostered, and it's the job of the foster parent to get out the antisocial habits they have, so as to give the animal a better chance at being re-homed.


I hope that is the case, or they'll try and have the cat adopted. If they are unsucessfull, the animal will be put down.
