C-section and hysterectomy at the same time?

I'M HAVING BOTH DONE C-SECTION AND HYSTERECTOMY. WILL MY RECOVERY BE LONGER. IS THERE A HIGH RISK WITH THIS.

you will be in alot of pain from the hysterectomy. i had one trust me . sorry its bad . at leat you have a baby to look forward to i lost mine . but the endo pain will go away . good luck my heart goes out to u . god bless. gina
Reply:Your physical recovery won't be longer. Your emotional recovery might be longer though. Really research any hormone pills you might be perscribed. The CDC has put estrogen on the list of top ten carcinogens.
Reply:No honey they are not the same thing at all. C-section is the removal of your baby through you abdoman. Hysterectomy is the rmoval af your uterus, ovaries and fallopion tubes. Rendering you unable to ever have any more children. How old are you I am wondering. Hysterecomy is not to be taken lightly. It messes up your hormones and causes hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings. Among some of the problems you may encouter. Talk to your doctor or nurse. If you don't need it don't get it. There are other ways not to have children if this is what you want to do.
